I am unable to upload posts and I can't figure out why! very annoying issue. Using firefox browser with standard settings.

It might be due to your IP being banned. If I remember correctly back when I used a VPN most of the time I would have uploads fail without any error message, it would just go to the post listing after the page reloaded. Turning off the VPN and trying again the upload would go through fine. Similarly you could try using a VPN and see if you can upload with it on.
